With over twenty years of experience behind us (and several thousand satisfied customers) our chef and griddle teams have been clocking up the miles across Crawley and the surrounding areas. Of course the people here are no strangers to travellers, proudly boasting a rich heritage of coaching inns serving the earliest commuters between London and Brighton. On Monday we’re catering for a family re-union with the Carter clan, on Tuesday it’s Tinsley Green and a Ruby Wedding anniversary. Thursday sees us running a black tie marquee event for a certain global blue chip company and on Saturday it’s a community party in Buchan Country Park. No time to rest on our laurels, that’s for sure… but to be honest we love it. The sheer variety of settings is wonderful as no two days are ever the same. Naturally this means we have to be both creative and flexible in our approach. To create the kind of hog roast Crawley will be talking about for a long, long time after takes careful planning and expert delivery. Our Event Planners take great care of the small details so that you don’t have to lose any sleep over them. On the big day (or night) itself you can just relax and have fun with your special guests – we’ll take care of the rest. We just make it look easy…

With all our organic ingredients being sourced from local suppliers – including the hog you’ve selected coming straight from a specialist local farm – we guarantee you’ll not be disappointed with the results. Whether it’s a small family party or a full on festival crowd we’ll take it all in our stride. Under the watchful eye of our highly trained chefs all our food is prepared fresh on the day. Crisp canapés, baked bread and soft floured rolls are complemented by a range of delicious tangy sauces (ok, the BBQ is terrific but you just have to try the apple!) and a range of potato and salad options. If you’re still game after that there’s a delightful dessert awaiting your undivided attention too! All of this, remember, built around your very own magnificent hog which provides a sizzling golden brown centrepiece slowly basting itself over an open flame. Heady aromas, a juicy melt-in-the-mouth consistency and crispy, crunchy crackling to top it off… a truly spectacular dining experience.

We’re confident that our dedicated and motivated staff can create something that’ll agree with even the most demanding of your guests. People often ask us about catering for vegetarian guests and we’re quick to reassure them it’s never a problem because our chefs will happily set up a dynamic veggie spit roast just for them. It’s only right that everyone gets to enjoy the full hog roast experience and with our friendly, helpful service staff keeping an eye on things, guests’ plates won’t remain empty for very long!

One of the questions we’re asked most frequently is can people have a go at running the spit roast themselves? No problem, we explain; what they need is our hog roast hire. You tell us and we’ll deliver all the equipment, bottled gas and cooking utensils you’ll need, direct to the venue. No need to worry about setting up or getting started either because our chef will be on hand throughout the meal to offer any support or advice you may need.
