Just as I was walking away, a fellow line dancer started to ask questions as well. She wondered if it was possible for them to cover functions such as weddings and corporate events. The gentleman was a source of information as he mentioned that they have extensive experience of this.
Whether the function is held in the grounds of a Stately Home or even the back garden of a council estate, this company said they have extensive experience of doing this and that they also can provide testimonials from their previous customers. So, there I was thinking on my feet when I asked him that in these times of financial peril for many and companies cutting back on their entertaining budget is this taken into account and a cheaper and less costlier alternative supplied? He was more than happy to provide for this budgetary demand. Even if you wanted the hog to be cooked beforehand and then it would just require yourself cutting and serving the hog yourself this can also be provided for as well. As with all my questions, they were answered with a positive attitude and the information given to me was completely satisfying and not only did I enjoy his response but also the hog he served which was delicious.
As I walked away pleasantly surprised by the answers given to me, I took a leaflet which the company had where further information was available to read as well. At the bottom of the first page, there was a very helpful note saying where exactly they get their meat from. This particular location could be found nearby to Blackburn and showed that the air miles which were needed in order to transport the meat from the farm to the hog roast catering company was minimal and this led to the meat staying as fresh as possible.
